Pictures 1 thru 5 show how the area should look.

Remove the old dampening system including the drive motor: unplug wires and remove all connecting linkages. Remove water probe. Inside cover cut and crimp together wires leading to water probe. Use the supplied closed end connector to do this. Short spring goes on nonop side. Long spring goes on the operator side. Oil lines that are not used and more should be plugged with supplied socket head plugs.
